Natural disaster financial assistance is available to help sporting and recreation clubs directly affected by a declared natural disaster including flood, fire or storm damage.
This low interest rate loan can help meet the costs of restoring essential club facilities, equipment or other assets that have been damaged or destroyed by a natural disaster.
If you are in a local government area (LGA) impacted by severe weather and floods that began in February 2022, please note that the close dates for applications for the Disaster Relief Loan, Natural Disaster Transport Subsidy and the Donated Fodder Transport Subsidy have been extended. Applications for these programs under the February 2022 event are now open until 30 June 2023 and approved applicants now have until 30 September 2023 to lodge invoices to claim payment.
