  • Extensive farming background, originally from the Deniliquin district of southern NSW. Tertiary training
    and practical experience in Ag Science, farm management, negotiations and finance.
  • 12 years as a Rural Financial Counsellor, having operated with large numbers of clients ranging from
    the Tablelands, Riverina and far western NSW. Enterprise types ranging from wool, beef, dairying,
    specialist cereal croppers, orchards, vineyards, cotton growers etc.
  • Highly experienced over many years of high level negotiations with banks and government agencies.
  • Masters Degree in Rural Management based on a research project that looked at the impact of
    attitudes on farm business performance. My thesis evaluated various methods of measuring farm
    business performance.
