I have been a solicitor in country NSW for over 35 years and a mediator since 1995:

Much of my legal work and the business of my clients relates to rural properties, agriculture and rural service
industries. Over the years I have helped clients with the purchase and sale of rural properties, mortgages and
mortgage default (acting for mortgagors and mortgagees), crown land & western lands leases, water access
licences, wills and family succession, intergenerational transfers, leasing, share farming & agistment, contracts
and security taken over crops, livestock, farming plant & equipment. I have an understanding of some of the
issues with transporting grain. I am a strong believer in mediation. I also have experience working with families
and businesses in times of stress.
My father’s family were farmers and drovers. I grew up in Forbes NSW and my family up until recently still had
a few acres there. I have spent virtually all of my working life in Dubbo NSW. Many of my friends and clients
are on the land.
