I have lived and worked in the regional areas of Bourke, Moree, Inverell, Quirindi, Dubbo and Tamworth since
1995. This work has given me an understanding of farming and regional issues. My wife is from a farming
family in Tamworth.
I am happy to travel to conduct mediations. I will travel to the New England/ North West, Central West, Hunter
and Maitland/Newcastle, as well as the North Coast of NSW. These areas are generally within three-four
hours of my base in Tamworth. I will also conduct mediations over telephone or video platforms such as Zoom. I have done this on many occasions, especially through the COVID pandemic.
I am accredited under the National Mediation Accreditation System (NMAS) and am registered with the
Attorney General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. I am a member of the Resolution
Institute. I have completed workplace mediations, NGO’s and Government Departments. I have mediated
disputes between property owners.
I believe that relationships are key. The mediations that I facilitate focus on ensuring that the issue can be
resolved, and that the relationship can be repaired. I understand that conflict can take people down a road that
can make them uncharacteristically combative. My Mediation Business, Kelly Mediation and Assessment
Services, is based in Tamworth.
