I have mediated insurance disputes, commercial disputes and lease disputes for many individuals and small businesses
who reside in rural areas.
I have also acted for many clients who live in rural areas. I have a close affinity with rural Australia through my
connections with friends and family who live in rural NSW.
I understand the unique personal and cultural factors which arise in rural sector mediation. For farmers experiencing
financial hardship, questions of livelihood and emotional attachment to the land require the mediator to empathise and
assist all parties in the mediation to understand each party's needs and interests.
I understand rural issues including stock, farm machinery, leasing and Crown land issues.
