Bushfire Recovery Programs


The RAA administers natural disaster financial assistance programs under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) 2018, a joint funding arrangement between the Commonwealth and NSW Governments.

NSW residents who have been impacted by natural disaster are encouraged to report damage via the Primary Industries Natural Disaster Damage Survey.


Natural Disaster Relief Loans

Low interest loans to support the rapid recovery of primary producers, small business operators, sporting and recreation clubs and associations and non-profit organisations impacted by natural disaster.

Natural Disaster Transport Subsidy

Freight subsidies for primary producers to help transport livestock, fodder and water following a declared natural disaster.

Natural Disaster Donated Fodder Transport Subsidy

Subsidies for organisations that donate and transport donated fodder to a central location within NSW for the benefit of three or more primary producers with livestock, in the event of a declared natural disaster.


Note: Applications for financial assistance must be submitted by the relevant close date listed on the Declarations webpage.
