Verification of identity
To help keep your information secure in the RAA Portal, identity verification is available for users who wish to access additional account information and features. Verification of identity also ensures that only authorised individuals connected to a business can view or manage its information.
Identity verification remains valid for two years. If your verification has not been completed or has expired, some account details and portal features may not be available.
Important: For loan applications through the RAA, all authorised signatories must complete the identity verification process before the loan can be approved.
For step-by-step instructions on completing a Verification of Identity task, visit our Verification of Identity support page.
Request for information
If information or documentation was missing from your original application or claim, or further information is required to determine eligibility, the RAA may assign you a Request for Information task.

How you will be notified
A task will appear on your Home page and Tasks page in the RAA Portal.
You will also receive a notification in the RAA Portal when the task is assigned, and an email outlining the details of the request will be sent to you.
How to respond
You can provide the requested information in either of the following ways:
- Log in to the RAA Portal, open the task, and upload the requested documents or information.
- Reply directly to the email with the required information or attachments.
Credit check consent
As part of the loan application process, the RAA will need to review your credit history. This helps us understand your financial background and assess your eligibility for the loan.
If a credit check is required, you will be asked to complete a Credit Check Authorisation Consent Form. This will be assigned to you as a Task in the RAA Portal.
How you will be notified
A task will appear on your Home page and Tasks page in the RAA Portal.
You will also receive an email outlining what is required.
How to complete the task
- Log In to the RAA Portal.
- Open the assigned Credit Check Consent task.
- Review the information provided.
- Tick the consent checkbox.
- Select Next to submit.
Note on the primary contact and related individuals
If the RAA requires additional information to assess an application or claim (including where a credit check is required), a task will be assigned to the primary contact for that application.
The primary contact is nominated by the person completing the application and is the only person who will receive and be assigned tasks in the portal (for example, requests for further information).
If you are an individual related to the applying entity (such as a partner or shareholder) and have been successfully linked to the financial account in the portal, you may be able to view the application status and see whether information is outstanding. However, tasks will not be assigned to you for completion.
