I have been a solicitor in country NSW for over 35 years and a mediator since 1995:

Much of my legal work and the business of my clients relates to rural properties, agriculture and rural service industries. Over the years I have helped clients with the purchase and sale of rural properties, mortgages and mortgage default (acting for mortgagors and mortgagees), crown land and western lands leases, water access licences, wills and family succession, intergenerational transfers, leasing, share farming and agistment, contracts and security taken over crops, livestock, farming plant and equipment. I have an understanding of some of the issues with transporting grain. I am a strong believer in mediation. I also have experience working with families and businesses in times of stress.
My father’s family were farmers and drovers. I grew up in Forbes NSW and my family up until recently still had a few acres there. I have spent virtually all of my working life in Dubbo NSW. Many of my friends and clients are on the land.
